He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Rowlands and Marion Reed Rowlands; and his siblings, Richard Rowlands, William Rowlands, Jr., Walter Rowlands, James Rowlands and Ruth Brian.
He is survived by: his wife Esther M. Hall Rowlands; his daughter Patty Snyder (Tom) of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; his granddaughter Sarah Easterling (Trevor); and his great grandchild Lucy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
