James R. Siglin Obituary
We announce the death of James R. Siglin of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 76. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. James will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew James will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. James’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Blaine" Siglin and Lounette Sommers. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Siglin (Nye); his sister Marsha McAdams; and his children, Deborah, Carl, Kerby, Robert and Courtney. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America, the WWII Veterans History Project, or Camp Papillon Animal Shelter.
