John E. Marvin Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John E. Marvin (Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away at the age of 88, on April 28, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry S. Marvin and Amelia Marvin. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn "Gwen" A. (Cramer); his sons, Todd Marvin of Wooddale and Troy Marvin (Kathy) of Chantilly, VA; his stepgrandsons, Anthony T. Perez (Jordan) and Austin C. Perez; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Eliza Perez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to the Wooddale United Methodist Church, 100 Barren Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302.
