She is survived by: her husband Steven Friedman; her daughters, Pamela Catalano of Clifton, NJ and Stephanie Friedman (Miriam) of Chicago, IL; her granddaughters, Shira Friedman-Parks of Chicago, IL and Julia Friedman-Parks of Chicago, IL; and her brother Philip Prolizo (Donna) of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) or the Dementia Society of America.
