Josephine Friedman Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Prolizo and Josephine Prolizo (D'Angelo); and her siblings, Frances Krevens and Carl Prolizo. She is survived by: her husband Steven Friedman; her daughters, Pamela Catalano of Clifton, NJ and Stephanie Friedman (Miriam) of Chicago, IL; her granddaughters, Shira Friedman-Parks of Chicago, IL and Julia Friedman-Parks of Chicago, IL; and her brother Philip Prolizo (Donna) of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William H. Clark Funeral Home (1003 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Luke (818 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) or the Dementia Society of America.
