It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Papillon (Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Chester, New York, who passed away at the age of 91, on March 1, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Wille and Minna Eyman Wille; her husband Ernest E. Papillon; and her siblings, Fred Wille and Elfriede Dose.

She is survived by : her daughters, Conni Papillon of East Stroudsburg, PA and Nancy Papillon Liskosky (Joseph) of Pringle, PA; her grandchildren, Forest Matechik (Beth Smalley), Sky Matechik Velez (Robert), Micah Matechik (Lexie Meisse) and Tessa Liskosky; her great grandchild Leo Velez; her extended family, Louise Scavone, Dr. Jillian Scavone (Michael Powell) and Daniel Scavone (Natalia); and her sister-in-law Elaine Brodhead (George). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was especially proud of serving as a volunteer at the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for over 25 years in her later years.
