She is survived by: her husband Douglas Samson; her sons, Eric Samson and Michael Samson; her grandchildren, Allen Samson, Mikey Samson and Amelia Samson; her brothers, Abe Figueroa and Nelson Figueroa (Marta); and her godson Paul Valentin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
