It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis M. Cocking of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Alfred I. Cocking; her parents, Arthur Pike and Irma Pike (Estler); her daughter Deborah Schlager; and her sisters, Jane McCrea, Lois DeSisto and Gloria Post.
She is survived by : her children, Cindy Ridner (Fred Sr) of Stroudsburg, Bruce Cocking (Bonny) of Hendersonville, NC and Roger Cocking of Hendersonville, NC; her son-in-law Roland Schlager of Stroudsburg; her grandchildren, Andrew Schlager (Dana Beard), Sarah Hershey (Bryan), Jonathan Schlager (Lauren), Fred Ridner, Jr. (Cara), Stephen Ridner (Samantha), Tim Ridner (Kayla), David Ridner (Caroline), Rebecca Walther (Joshua), Joshua Cocking (Alese), Samuel Cocking and Emily Corn (Grant); her great grandchildren, Bryce Ridner, Colin Ridner, Harrison Ridner, Bennett Ridner, Brooks Ridner, Kinley Ridner, Lucas Ridner, Eleanor Walther and Josie Cocking; and her stepsister Barbara Norton (Richard) of Colorado. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
