He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy L. Summerson and Virginia Summerson (Fitch); his sister Susan Tourtellotte; and his nephew Todd Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Summerson (Miller); his children, Dart Summerson (Mary) of Sugar Grove, Kim MacIvor (Dan) of Caroga Lake, NY and Cory Summerson (Lori) of Ruskin, FL; his grandchildren, Daryl, Renee Summerson, Ryan, Cody McKinney, Connor and Casey Summerson; his stepgrandson Tanner MacIvor; his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Violet Summerson and Aela McKinney; and his sibling's children, Jay Curtis, Marianne Farina, James Blevins, Mike Sanders, Jay Sanders, Mark Sanders, Tim Sanders and Linda Moreo.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church (3 Race St, Sugar Grove, PA 16350).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Sugar Grove Free Library, 22 Harmon St, PO Box 313, Sugar Grove, PA 16350 or to the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, PO Box 225, Sugar Grove, PA 16350.
