He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hagberg and Dorothy Hagberg (Coleman); his brothers, James and Robert Hagberg (Sherry); his granddaughter Challissah Mills; and his stepgrandson Jake Porter.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Hagberg (Eggleston); his children, Lisa M. "Lissah" Hagberg of Florence, SC and Jason Hagberg (Dawn) of Warren; his stepchildren, Kyle Nicklas of Los Angeles, CA and Suzanne Nicklas of Warren; and his sisters, Judy LaBarbera (Peter) and Barbara Kane (Robert). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
