She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gavitt and Jeanne Gavitt (Wear); and her brothers, Walter Joseph and James Lee Gavitt. She is survived by: her close friend John Timony; her daughter Kristin Vajda; her grandchildren, Isabella, Jacob and Ryder Vajda; and her sister June Phillips of Royal Oak, MI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
