We are sad to announce that, on March 16, 2026, at the age of 96, Catherine Cook of Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Cook to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Renga and Sophie Renga (Pisacreta); her husband Loren Eugene Cook; her former husband William Whaley; her daughters, Denise Whaley and Rose Ann Dearing; her son-in-law Henry Freeman; and her brother Salvatore Renga (Beatrice).
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Ann Freeman of Laurel, DE; her granddaughter Carol Lee Vitro (Victor) of Hazle Twp, PA; and her son Eugene L. Cook (Judy) of Clayton, NC. She is also survived by children and grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
She was also a member of RSVP of Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon Counties receiving the Presidents Volunteer Service Award.
