He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Hunter and Bernadyne Hunter (Goss); and his sister Rosalie Harrison (Arden). He is survived by : his wife Clara "Mazie" Hunter (Wilcox); his daughter Melissa Hunter (Arnell Cobb); his grandchildren, Akayla Cobb Irvin (Jovante) and Nadia Cobb (Darek Eichhorn); his great grandchild Zen Irvin; his parents-in-law, Hetty and Charlie Nichols; and his siblings-in-law, Chris, Jeanette, Michelle, Bud, Bob and Ken. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heller Funeral Home (633 E 3rd St, Nescopeck, PA 18635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Summerhill Firehall (422 Summerhill Ave, Berwick, PA 18603).
