He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Florence Morrison Smith; his wife Pauline Kurtz; his children, Pat and Joyce; and his siblings, Harold, Jr., Leroy, Lloyd, Dan, Ronald, Jim, Elsie, Frances and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Smith (Linda), Phil Smith (Dana) and Robin Cale; and his brother Eddie Smith. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
