We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2023, at the age of 56, Melissa A. Dietrich of Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Trinkle. She is survived by: her mother Carol Trinkle; her siblings, David Trinkle and Jennifer Polak; her husband Mark A. Dietrich Sr.; her children, Karalyn Williams (Brandon Williams) and Mark A. Dietrich Jr. (Jenna Dietrich); and her grandchildren, Grayson, Anthony, Andrew, Thomas and Emma.

Memorial Contributions in her name may be made to The Hershey Medical Center, Cardiology Dept. 30 Hope Dr, Ste. 300, Hershey, Pa. 17003. In lieu of flowers please send to Hershey Medical Center (cardiology department).

“I have been searching for people that I was blessed to meet and befriend when my Dad, Ted Stouffer, was waiting for his new heart at HMC. I met Melissa and absolutely loved her. She and I were the same age, and it blew my mind that all those years ago, someone our age, would be waiting for a heart. She and her family became family to all of us. I am saddened to see that most of those from the early/mid 90's have passed on. I know it's 2 years after the fact, but my condolences to all of you.”
