He is survived by : his significant other Christine A. (Swanger); his son Matthew E., Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kira R. Bean of Dalmatia; his stepdaughters, Cathy M. Mull of Sunbury and Tiffany J. Mull of Shamokin; his grandchildren, Colton, Brantley, Kimberly, Tanneesha, Alexus, Kevin, Zakary, Rylee and Tyrell; his great grandchildren, Mersaydes and Mavrick; and his siblings, Phillip Bean of Milton, Deborah Carr of Lewisburg and Alice (Rick Long).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zweier Funeral Home (157 Chestnut St, Sunbury, PA 17801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
