He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Krauss and Mary Krauss; and his wife Julia R. Kraus. He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Gillespie (Mark), Mary Piffath (Brad), Arthur S. Krauss, III, Julie Bowders (Greg) and Eric Krauss (Christina); and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Weinstein (Stephen). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.
