With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine R. Mason of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Catherine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Catherine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rush and Catherine Pawley Rush; her husband John E. "Jack" Mason; her son John F. "Jack" Mason; and her brother Joseph Rush (James Rush).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Majoros (George), Cathy Donlon, Dennis Mason and Timothy G. Mason; and her siblings, Mary Herrschaft, John Rush and William Rush (Thomas Rush, Sr.). She is also survived by seven grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
