George C. Lyon Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George C. Lyon Jr. of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Sr. and Marguerite; and his sisters, Gertrude (Ed) and Marguerite "Bunky" (Austin). He is survived by: his wife Carol Lyon; his children, Susan Cipolloni (Gus), Bill Lyon (Teresa) and Denise Flaherty (Tom); and his grandchildren, Rachael, Matt, Billy, Alyssa, Joey, Julia and Sean. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
