He was predeceased by : his parents, Vincent Tancredi and Marie Palma Tancredi; and his siblings, William P. Breeze, Joseph Tancredi, Giselda Henderson and Patrick Tancredi.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia M. "Trish" O'Neill Tancredi; his sons, Mark S. Tancredi, Jr. (Colleen) and Sean Tancredi (Amanda); his grandchildren, Gia and Ella Tancredi; and his siblings, Guy Tancredi (Jean), Marion Tancredi Cimino and Michael Tancredi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
