With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael T. Rutkowski of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on March 14, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Rutkowski and Dorothy Rutkowski. He is survived by : his wife Maureen; his daughters, Megan, Sarah and Katharine; and his siblings, Christine, Thomas and James. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

“Sorry Rutkowski family for your loss. Mike and I were friends first / business associates second. Worked along side of Mike for a decade or more. From Alabama, I would text spring photos of sunny skies and blooms. His return photos were snow covered yards and streets. Enjoyed his company. “Maureen, Megan, Sarah, Kathrine, words can’t express how I feel about Mike. He truly was one of a kind who always seemed to amaze me. His ability to perform any project, he made it seem like it was a walk in the park. Mike would always keep in touch through texting or an occasional phone call to check up on me and my family. When I heard Mike was sick it hurt so much. I wish I would have known sooner. But that’s the way Mike was. I will truly miss him. He was a great friend and better neighbor.”
