He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel A. Baluta and Jean Gavrish. He is survived by: his wife Melissa A. Ritsick; his stepson Matthew J. Hawk Sr. (Rachel); his grandson Matthew Jr.; and his pets, Sheba and Patches.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
