She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Carr and Jean Carr (Coletta); her husband Hugh E. Shields (Bud); her sibling Thomas L.; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Lydon, Kathleen and Carita Shields (Florence).
She is survived by: her son Kevin E. Shields (Linda); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Kost (late Robert) and Terrence Shields (Michele).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home (7441 Washington Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
