Eileen M. Och Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen M. Och of Swissvale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eileen M. Och to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. Och; and her siblings, Mary Teresa (TC), Jeanne, Rosanne, Julia Catherine and Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Mary Ellen), Susan (Kevin), Tracey (James), Patricia (Erik), Christopher (Barbara) and Karen (Alan); and her siblings, Elizabeth Hoinkes and Edward Mallon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home (7441 Washington Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anselm Church (7446 McClure Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Eileen's memory to the Carnegie Free Library of Swissvale, a place that reflects her lifelong love of learning and community.
