We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2026, at the age of 98, Josephine Jackson of Swissvale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Jackson; her parents, Ambrose Shaughnessy and Adele Shaughnessy; and her siblings, Mary Coleman (Frank), William Shaughnessy (Rita) and Thomas Shaughnessy (Marcy).
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Heyl (Dave), Carole Ann Jackson, Mary Beth Moran-Jackson and Bill Jackson (Annie); her grandchildren, James Heyl, Will Jackson and Zach Jackson; and her pet Buddy.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. (7450 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rosalia Church (411 Greenfield Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15207).
