She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. Caputo; her parents, Stephen Kupetz and Helen Kupetz (Hyduke); her siblings, Helen Kristoff, Anna Martin, Steven Kupetz and Andrew Kupetz; her grandson Christopher Schaefer; and her nephew Glenn Caputo.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Clouden (Scott) of Kempton, Robert S. (Lisa) of Tamaqua and Michael (Aimee) of Weatherly; her grandchildren, Brooke King (Dan), Christian Caputo (Melissa), Kahley Caputo (Anthony Colosi), Joel Essington (Ashley), Dr. Lauryn Clouden (Sarah Linhares), Eric Schaefer (Jessica) and Jessica Duda (late Christopher Schaefer); and her great grandchildren, Riley, Tyler, Emalyn, Ellie King, Briella, Harper, Owen Caputo, Kayson, Preston Caputo, AJ Colosi, Jack, Will Essington, Weston Scheafer, Kinley Roddick, Madelyn, Olivia Schaefer and Dustin Duda. She is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Parish (462 W Ludlow St, Summit Hill, PA 18250).
Memorial donations in Barbara's name may be made to St. Luke's Hospice, Development Office, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015, or to the church.
