He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphael Malarkey and Ellen Malarkey (McGroarty); and his siblings, Thomas and Rose Malarkey. He is survived by: his wife Jane Malarkey (Stutzman); his sons, John (Kathy) of Jim Thorpe, James (Lisa) of Stoneham and Joseph (Jennifer) of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Ryan, Rhiannon, Johnny, Jack, Emma, Donovan and Kieran; and his sister-in-law Joan Malarkey of Silver Springs, MD..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Xxiii Catholic Church (307 Pine St, Tamaqua, PA 18252).
