She was predeceased by: her parents, James Breslin and Elizabeth Breslin (Waters); her husband Harry R. "Richie" Arner; and her siblings, Elizabeth Olenick, Margaret James, James, William and Charles Breslin.

She is survived by: her daughter Kathy M. Carnish (James) of Tamaqua; her grandchildren, Dr. Erin R. Carnish (Sean Bernard) and Molly K. Carnish; and her great grandchildren, Colin and Patrick Bernard.
