He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Derr and Sophie Derr-Davis (Roszkowski); and his brother Michael Derr. He is survived by: his wife Clarissa Derr (Trout); his children, Jeff A. Derr (Kathleen) of Tamaqua, David A. Derr (Judy Reed) of Tamaqua, Corey A. Derr (Courtney) of Hackettstown, NJ, Melinda Boyer of Schuylkill Haven and Maria Derr (Mark Bower) of Tamaqua; his grandchildren, Briann Derr, Justin Boyer, Kyle Boyer and Crystal Boyer; and his great grandchildren, Gigi Flexer, Nikko Flexer, Scarlette Heiter and Delilah Heiter.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (101 N Greenwood St, Tamaqua, PA 18252).
