He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Block and Rose Block (Woolf); his daughter Susan Joy Block; his brothers, Leon and Eugene Block; and his sisters-in-law, Cecilie Block and Cindy Spector.
He is survived by: his wife Selma Libby Block (Spector); his daughters, Audrey Snyderman (Alan) and Margo Michel (Ian); his grandchildren, Laura Lohmann-Michel (Edwin), Katherine Michel, Scott Snyderman and Robert Snyderman (Yanara Friedland); his great grandchild Nelly Friedland; and his siblings-in-law, Martin Spector and Lois Block.
