He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Hettler and Stephanie Hettler (Krupka); and his brother Scott Fisher. He is survived by: his close friend Fay Herr; his siblings, Lori Ahner, Mark Hettler and Thomas Hettler; Braxton Allen Herr.

He also was very generous by donating to various organizations.
