He was predeceased by : his wife Marie (Kaufmann); his parents, Gustave Ebeling and Mary Ebeling (Torpey); and his brothers, Jack Ebeling and Joseph Ebeling.

He is survived by : his children, Robert Ebeling (Suann), Kathleen Leddy (Daniel), Thomas Ebeling and Kevin Ebeling (Susan). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Church (327 Cherry Lane Rd, Tannersville, PA 18372).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gus' name to either Our Lady of Victory Church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville, PA 18372 or The Sister's of St. Joseph, 577Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
