We bid farewell to Gary E. Schrag Sr. of Tarentum, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 5, 2025 at the age of 77. Gary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Schrag; his siblings, Jack, Blaine Schrag and Donna Henderson; and his parents-in-law, Olga and Emmett Kustra.
He is survived by: his wife Aline Schrag (Kustra); his children, Ronald Schrag (Daria), Gary Schrag, Jr., Tracey Stello (Geno) and Lindsay Mialki (Russell); his grandchildren, Shawn Brown, Nicholas, Katrina Stello, Joslyn, Alexa, Cadence Schrag and Melissa Mialki; his great grandchild Luca Stello; his siblings, Margaret Ciminera, Joyce Schrag, Darlene Schrag, Bonnie Fuller (Daniel), Roxanne Sabulsky (Melvin) and Ronald Schrag (Dale); and his pets, Gypsy, Sam, Daniel, Charley and Mandy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. (347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, PA 15084). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Cemetery (1898 Bakerstown Rd, Tarentum, PA 15084).
Gary E. Schrag, Sr., 77, of Tarentum entered into God's Kingdom on August 5, 2025 and is now at peace in the arms of his savior after a long and painful battle of Parkinson's and heart disease.
