It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Marie Schaefers of Tarentum, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her significant other Joseph Conrad Schaefers of Tarentum; her parents, John Stens and Justine Hrustinec Stens Skubel; and her sons, Ronald Joseph Schaefers and Joseph John Schaefers.

She is survived by : her son Gary J. Schaefers (Linda) of Buffalo Township; her granddaughters, Jessica Campana (James) of Collier Township and Jacqueline Lee Schaefers (Nicole Lee Kochasic) of Allison Park; her great grandchildren, Anthony Brayden Campana and Troy James Campana; her friend Sharon Leonardi; and her close friend Mary Ann O'Dell.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 1 University Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
