He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Kort and Bernadine Kort (Valasek). He is survived by: his siblings, Edmond J. "Bud" and Elaine M. Zeiler (Larry) of New Kensington; his nieces, Lauren Fularz (Craig) of Apollo and Renae Wagner (Larry) of New Kensington; his girlfriend Elizabeth Ann Stanley-Swope of Mechanicsburg; his uncle Walt Valasek (Marian); and his aunts, Dolores O'Connell and Yvonne Jungle (Ed).
