He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Harrell and Loretto Harrell (George); and his siblings, Daniel, John Harrell and Rita Popish.

He is survived by : his wife Janet C. Harrell (Steele); his sons, Patrick T. Harrell (Patricia) of Parker, Christopher J. Harrell (Lisa) of Annville, Jason D. Harrell of Avalon, Ian M. Harrell (Bhawani) of Buffalo Twp and Misha A. Harrell (Leanne) of Youngwood; his grandchildren, Bernadette Egan (Matthew), Michelle Adamonis (Jacob), Stephanie Ollis (Mark), Miles, Maia, Liam, Nirvan and Himani Harrell; and his great grandchildren, Jon, Maddie, Katie Egan and Olivia Adamonis.

Family suggests contributions to an animal shelter of one's choice or Saxonburg Library.
