Donald R. Edelman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Edelman of Tatamy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Edelman and Minnie Edelman (Mushko); and his daughter Norma Jean. He is survived by: his wife Miriam S. "Mim" (Groner); his children, Randy Edelman (Donna) of Bangor, Sharon Smith (Brian) of Sullivan County and Gary Edelman (Amy) of Bushkill Township; his grandchildren, Dean Williams (Stephanie), Kellen Williams (Melissa), Ashley White (Jeremy), Wayde Edelman (Christiana) and Shelby Meckes (Asher); his sister Marlene Newhart (Edelman); and his caregiver Donald. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forks United Church of Christ (4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, PA 18083). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forks Ucc Church (4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, PA 18083). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Forks Cemetery (4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, PA 18083).
