He is survived by: his wife Laura Hitchcock Volack; his sons, Richard Volack (Chryssa), Sean Volack (Shannon) and Jason Volack (Aviv); his granddaughters, Shyane, Madison and Chloe Volack; his brother Walter Stook (Nancy); his stepson Brad Fassett (Malinda); his stepgrandchildren, Daphne, Mylie and Collin Fassett (Kalee); his brother-in-law Edward Noritis; Hazel and Connell.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Semian Funeral Home (704 Union St, Taylor, PA 18517). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (1217 Prospect Ave, Scranton, PA 18505). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (612 Mt Olivet Rd, Wyoming, PA 18644). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
