He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene and Betty Jean Orr Powell; and his siblings, Sandra Lewis-Pfeiffer, Cheryl A. Malinowski and William M. Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Petcavage; his daughters, Ruth Ann Tumavitch (Donald), Elizabeth Krall (Jason), Rebecca, Lauren Tumavitch, Maggie, Holly and Campbell Krall; his sister-in-law Paulette Powell; and his pet Cali. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc. (1030 N Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18508). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (316 William St, Scranton, PA 18508).
