He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cliver and Elizabeth Cliver; his former wife Dorothy Cliver (Frank); his wife Nancy; his siblings, Carol Cliver, Gail Allen, George Cliver and Luray Snedecker; his daughter Melissa A. Cliver; and his stepson Gregory Neubert.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Cliver (Linda), Robert Cliver (Dawn) and Ronald Cliver (Karen); his stepchildren, Robert Neubert (Michelle), Teresa Smith (Christopher) and Steven Neubert; his grandchildren, Michael Neubert (Alisha), Andrew Neubert (Danielle), Melissa Lattanzi (Jordan), Kevin Cliver (Linda Bruno), Michael Staley (Kristen), Amber Kirk (Jesse), Jonathan Cliver and Katie Cliver; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Neubert, Zoey Lattanzi, Clara Neubert and Emily Neubert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Gene's memory to St. Andrew's United Church of Christ, 615 E. Walnut Street, Perkasie, PA 18944.
