She was predeceased by : her husband Robert P. Hicks; her parents, Henry Caldwell and Clara Caldwell (Beerman); her son David S. Hicks; her siblings, Robert Caldwell and Dorothy Brown; and her grandsons, Nathan R. Hicks and Steven C. Hicks.

She is survived by : her close friend Joseph Moyer.
