Karen (Lampe) E Money Obituary

Karen E. Money, a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away on December 28th after a courageous 14-month battle with cancer. She was 67 years old.

Born on May 31, 1956 to the late Walter and Helen (Hoar) Lampe. Karen lived a life defined by love, strength, and compassion. Karen leaves behind her Husband, Ronald Money, Daughter, Michelle Money [John Hoy], Granddaughter, Kaylee Rose Hoy, and her siblings; Helen Eroh, Sharon Lewis, Kevin Lampe, Bryan Lampe, and a host of other family members and friends who mourn her loss.
Karen's compassionate soul was evident to all who knew her, as she selflessly offered her time and energy to helping others. Her generosity knew no bounds, whether she was offering a listening ear, a helping hand, watching a pet, or simply being a comforting presence. Her acts of kindness have left a mark on the lives of many. Karen enjoyed traveling especially if it involved a beach and sun.

In the last two years, amidst the challenges of radiation and chemotherapy, Karen found immense joy in babysitting her cherished granddaughter, Kaylee Rose, multiple times a week. Their time together was filled with laughter, stories, singing, and created a world of happiness for both of them. Karen's role as a “mommom” brought her unparalleled joy, and the love she showered upon Kaylee will be a cherished and enduring memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday January 8th, 2024 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Telford, 107 W. Lincoln Ave. Telford PA 18969. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in St Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Telford.
