He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Lucas (Weisser); his parents, Clayton Lucas and Doris P. Lucas (Bass); his son Joseph Lucas Jr.; and his grandson Jamie L. Lucas Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Lantz (Fred) of Wernersville and Jamie L. Lucas of Alsace Township; and his brother Billy Lucas. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
