He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Getty, Sr. and Thelma Getty (Welch). He is survived by: his wife Ginny; his sons, Robert Getty III (Erin Collins Getty) of Hermosa Beach, CA and Matthew Getty (Cheri Getty) of Carlisle, PA; his granddaughters, Sophia and Maddy Getty; and his sister Ann Getty Beckwith (Charles Beckwith) of Shelter Island.
