With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Thomas McAllister of Thomasville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Gilbert and Edith McAllister (Hyson); and his siblings, Elizabeth Rehmeyer, Ruth Stitely, Cora Renicke, Harold McAllister and John McAllister.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth McAllister; his children, Angela M. Phillips, Pamela A. Holt (William) and Mike Filbey; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Austin, Julius, Elena, Jaxson, Anthony, Michael, Derik and Bryce; his great grandchildren, Azriel and Mason; and his sisters, Jean Doll and Lois Zellers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Etzweiler - Koller Funeral Home (2000 W Market St, York, PA 17404). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Etzweiler-Koller Funeral Home (2000 W Market St, York, PA 17404).
