He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. (Forry); his children, Mary A. Speece (Randy) of Thompsontown, Harry J. "Jake" Rice, Jr. (Kate) of McAlisterville and Diane L. Yoder of Thompsontown; his grandchildren, Brittany Hockenberry (Jason Lucas), Jaimee Beasom (Ethan) and Julie Rice (Dennis Arnold); his great grandchildren, Levi Hockenberry, Kyli Hockenberry and Brynlie Beasom; and his siblings, Robert Rice (Eileen) of Millerstown, Bessie Speece (Dwayne) of Mifflintown, Patsy Maneval (Elwood) of Thompsontown, Jeannie Bowers (Harold) of Camp Hill, Paul Rice (Pam) of McAlisterville, Shirley Hargett (Frank) of Mifflin, Helen Smith (Wes Smith) of Mifflintown and Anna Beachel (Terry) of Thompsontown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 2825 Evendale Hill Rd, McAlisterville, PA 17049. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stony Run Mission (825 Evendale Hill Rd, Millerstown, PA 17062).
