He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Symmerman, and Janet C. Symmerman, Sr. (McCulloch); and his sister Deborah E. Bender (Harmon "Hump" Bender). He is survived by: his wife Christine W. Symmerman (Swailes); his stepdaughters, Wendy S. Hawse (Jeff) and Sheri L. Bowersox (Pernell); his grandchildren, Lauren Klingman, Brian L. Bowersox (Abby) and Rachel L. Murdick (Aiden); and his sisters, Brenda Rager and Julie Symmerman.

Contributions may be made to Guss Funeral Home, Inc. 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059 to help with his expenses.
