He was predeceased by: his parents, John Contento and Josephine Contento. He is survived by: his wife Susan Contento; his children, Lisa Luckanish (Joseph), Tollie Contento, Rita Hutchinson (Michael) and Dennis Frattarola (Antonia); and his siblings, Richard Contento (Deborah), Terrance Contento (Sharon) and Linda Schmidt (Richard). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's honor can be made to the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company.
