He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Donovan and Catherine G. Atchinson Donovan. He is survived by: his spouse Veronika B. Donovan; his children, Christopher P. Donovan (Heather), Kimberly M. Stanford (Paul) and Erin N. Donovan; and his grandchildren, Logan, McKenna Stanford and Carson Donovan. He is also survived by 11 siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in John's name to Downingtown V.F.W. Post 845, 4601 Lincoln Highway, Downingtown, Pa 19335.
