She was predeceased by : her parents, William B. Houck and Anna E. Houck (Carper); her husband Richard M. Shope Sr.; her son Robert Wayne Shope; and her grandsons, Robert H. Hoffman III and Richard M. Shope III.
She is survived by : her children, Beverly Hoffman (Robert Jr.), Deborah Cornelius (Lanny), Richard M. Shope Jr. (Debra), Paula Wible (Gary) and Timothy Shope; and her siblings, Betty Williams, Walter Houck and Dora Benson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
