She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Ralph Cramer Stevens and Ella Salome Stevens (Carothers); her husband Charles Wayne Hess; her siblings, Joseph Stevens, Ralph Stevens, Maxine Vieau and Eleanor Cladius; and her granddaughter Nicole Lynn Hess.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Hess (Shelley) of Chesapeake, VA and David Hess (Joy) of Latrobe; her granddaughters, Lauren Hess and Natalie Hess; and her great grandchildren, Gavin Nutter and Kenzlee Kissner.
